Debbie Hosseini's new book, Artism: the Art of Autism, shatters myths about those on the autism spectrum. This new book published by Autism Today, reveals vision beyond the prism of autism. Artists like Temple Grandin, Donna Williams and many others reveal the depth and richness through their art that resonates with the heart and soul.

Donna Williams' Gorgeous Song: Beautiful Behavioral Mutations
We are thrilled by the next Autism Today book, Artism: The Art of Autism, www.artismtoday.com. Author Debbie Hosseini did an amazing job tracking down some of the world's top artists with autism for this beautiful book, and collected wonderful testimonials by the artists themselves, and several leading experts and advocates in the autism community. One of my favorite artists is multi-talented Donna Williams. In addition to her visual creations, Donna is also an amazing singer and songwriter. Here is a wonderful slide show (click here) she prepared recently for YouTube, From Autism to Artism. www.donnawilliams.net

Special Welcome to our Federal & Provincial Government Exhibitors

One early challenge of any family responding to an autism diagnosis is that of finding information about publicly-funded resources for their child. We especially appreciate, therefore, the officials of the Government of Canada and the Province of British Columbia who plan to attend and exhibit at Autism Vancouver, and meet our families, teachers and professionals. Across North America, budgets are tight, and families will work harder to find and pay for resources. We value the opportunity to get acquainted, discuss our shared challenges, and consider innovative strategies, together in Vancouver.
