A
SPECIAL INVITATION TO YOU!
From:
Karen Simmons
Founder and CEO of Autism Today.
First
of all I would like to congratulate you for coming to this webpage. You
are the reason we have created this program. As a fellow parent, professional,
caregiver in oh so many ways and entrepreneur, it is important to me that you
have the resources to help you and your children on the autism spectrum. Just
the fact that you are here shows me that you are interested in bettering the
lives of those affected by autism. I want to commend you on embracing the
“Autism Today” philosophy along with your desire to get the the most up-to-date
information and breakthroughs in the autism spectrum.
I’ll
tell you all about how you can get a Risk-FREE “Test Drive” of the exclusive “Autism
Today Inner Circle” program in a minute. But let me tell you a little bit
about myself, and what qualifies me to provide you with the best information on
the autism spectrum.
In
case you have not met me already at one of my national autism conferences, my
name is Karen Simmons. I am an active businesswoman, author, and international
speaker and mother of six children, one of which was diagnosed with autism, and
another diagnosed with ADHD/NLD. I am also the founder and CEO of Autism
Today, the world’s largest one-stop autism center.
Life
at home is busy, but manageable. But it hasn’t always been that way.
Back
in 1994, my sister challenged me to have my son checked out,
as she believed he had autism after hearing a radio show about the topic. When
I did take Jonathan to see the doctor, the doctor said “Yeah sure, he looks
like he has autism. Bring him back in a year.” At this point I was still in a
state of denial, and I set out to prove everyone wrong. I was still convinced
my son didn’t have autism. After receiving a second opinion, the doctor also
confirmed that my son had autism and his advice was to get going with early
intervention right away. The first question I asked the doctor in the beginning
was “What does this look like in 20 years?” and he said “You don’t want to
know.” I said “Yes, I do.” He told me my son may have to be institutionalized
and then he dodged the rest of my questions. As a loving and concerned parent,
I did what any parent would do, and I set out to find the information that
could teach me what I can do today to improve my child’s opportunities in the
future.
I
started to do a lot of my own research, learning about the importance of early
intervention being the key to dealing with autism. Each moment in a child’s
life at that age when the child’s brain is forming, can make a huge difference
and impact in their future. I started on my quest to find the best support I
could. I decided to attend one of the only autism conferences available at that
time, which was in Toronto and I haven’t looked back since. I decided after
that conference that I was going to do everything I could to not only help my son, but to help all parents with autistic children
along the way.
Back
in the day, finding the information about autism was like trying to find a
needle in a haystack. I couldn’t find any information about any methodologies,
let alone which ones were the best ones. I wanted to
have all of these options available to all parents for each of their own
children’s individual needs. As a society, we’ve taken all of these people that
are all just a little bit different than the rest of us “normal” people and
we’ve excluded them. This bothers me and I want people to see that these people
are all special and unique in their own way and that they have something to
offer to the world.
So
I created AutismToday.com and began to pave the way for other parents. Autism
Today is designed to be a one-stop place for all autism resources. The first
thing I did was write a book called Little Rain Man so that his teachers
and friends would better understand him; so that they could recognize autism in
other kids and learn to deal better with my son. Social functionality is one of
the biggest struggles in a child with autism. I wanted other people not to take
it so personally, as I did originally. Publishing Little Rain Man opened
the door with my publisher and allowed me to sell their other titles across
Canada.
I
then started organizing conferences to help promote autism awareness to the
masses, at a price that was affordable to everyone, not only to people that had
deep pockets as the price tag of some autism conferences led me to believe. I
now attract audiences of more than 700 people to my conferences.
Through
my journey I have come across many insightful, meaningful discoveries that have
helped me find my own pathway through the autism maze. From specific
medications, biomedical interventions, behavioral strategies and communication
tools, new information and breakthroughs are coming in all the time.
Personally
I love doing the autism conferences. The energy from a whole room full of
people like yourself enjoying a presentation from one
of the top experts in their field of the autism spectrum is very
satisfying! The interaction and networking that goes on between attendees
is outstanding – and everyone seems to really learn a lot and enjoy the
information we present.
But there
is one problem...
With
1 in every 150 children being diagnosed on the spectrum, a lot of research and
testing of different forms of therapies and strategies are taking place, and a
lot of breakthroughs are being made. It’s a struggle for anyone to stay on top
of the advances that are being made in all the different areas of the spectrum.
From specific medications, biomedical interventions, behavioral strategies and
communication tools, your child will be in a much better place through the
efforts you pursue, but how do you get the best information to base your
decisions on?
Maybe
you leave an event ready to try a new strategy or better educated in a new form
of therapy but then you get back home and you settle back into that same old
routine. Or perhaps you do attempt to implement what you learned, but you don’t
achieve the result you were hoping. Nonetheless, you keep moving forward, but
now you have to hunt for new information. You need to get “plugged in” to the
best sources of information again, and this takes time. Research takes time.
Has this ever happened to you?
Maybe
you get caught up in the day-to-day “stuff” that bogs us all down. Perhaps you
wait too long to review your seminar notes and lose them! Or maybe you
forget to contact all of the people you met in order to network with them – and
then never get around to it. Whatever your particular case may be, something
happens that knocks you off course – and getting back on track can be tough.
And Now
There Is a Solution!
I
have noticed something about the many people I have had the privilege of
meeting that have navigated their pathway through the autism maze. They all
take action. They get the education that they need, implement it and
ACT on it.
However,
our autism conferences and other experts and speakers don’t
come to town as often as people
would like them to.
That
is why I’ve decided to create something brand new for Autism Today members like
yourself. I want to give you something that will
“bridge the gap” and provide you with the latest therapy and strategy updates,
thoughts and insights and the motivation that you need to keep pushing.
It is called…
The Autism Today Inner Circle.
This
is an exclusive membership program that we are making available to our Autism
Today members, and other people searching for the best
information on the spectrum. It is a fantastic way to get the newest thoughts,
practices and breakthroughs for therapy and strategies dealing with the autism
spectrum – delivered right to your front door every month!

Audio programs are a fantastic way to learn new information. You can turn
your car into a “university on wheels” every time you get in! If you take
transit, you can listen to the CD’s as you go back and forth to work. And
best of all, you can stop and re-listen as often as you like!
And
as an Autism Today Inner Circle member you will also receive...
#3.

#5.
Exclusive Inner Circle Member-Only Teleconferences.
A few times a year we will hold an exclusive
teleconference just for Inner Circle Members. You will be sent a “members-only” call-in
number, date, time and access code in advance. On the call I will either
personally teach on a topic of interest, or co-present with one of my expert
advisors. And the best part of it all is that you can ask any questions
you may have and we will answer them on the spot! You will have personal
access to myself and the expert I’m speaking with!
This
can be very powerful for you and an incredible savings compared to doing a
private consultation with me or with the expert I’m working with.
Currently
I charge $500.00 per hour for individual consulting. And any expert I
bring on a teleconference demands $100’s of dollars per hour for their time as
well.
As
an Inner Circle Member you do not have to pay anything “extra” for this call,
and it is your opportunity to ask your questions and have us answer
them...FREE.
So
I encourage you to be on the look-out for the dates and times of these
conference calls so that you can be prepared to participate to the
fullest! The value of this part of the program alone far exceeds it’s cost.
So How Is
That For A Great Program?
And It Will
Only Get Better!

I
worked on this project with Jeff Schneider for quite some time – before we
launched the “Autism Today Inner Circle”. We did competitive research to
find out what other membership programs are available on the market and what
they cost. We didn’t find anything as comprehensive – and nothing with
such a focus on helping the parents of kids on the spectrum. The costs of
what was out there ranged between $49.95 and $299.95 per month!
However,
as my mission is to bring autism education and awareness to the masses I want
to provide the best possible information at a very reasonable cost.
So the
investment to become an Autism Today Inner Circle
Member is
only $29.95 per month.
Now
think about it for a minute. For less than the cost of a coffee a day,
you will have 12 or more autism experts sharing their very best ideas, tips,
strategies and advice about parenting and family dynamics, nutrition and
fitness, interventions, biomedical and clinical issues, educational programs
and alternatives, self advocacy and so much more! All of this bundled up
in one convenient package and delivered right to your front door every single
month!
You
will also be able to hear our latest expert audio interviews on CD in the
comfort of your home or vehicle. What you will learn are things that you
can immediately put to use in the care of your child. And you can
re-listen to this great information at any time you want!
And
as if that wasn’t enough... you will also SAVE BIG on any paid seminars or
Autism Today products that we have. You will always get at least a 20%
discount off our paid conferences, and you will always have the option to
purchase our top products at “VIP Pricing” – which can be as much as a 70%
savings compared to normal retail pricing on our website.
And
then you get personal accessto me and my
expert advisors – three to four times a year through our Inner Circle
Member-Only Teleconferences. You bring the questions – we’ll give you the
answers (and you won’t have to pay hundreds of dollars for a Consultation)!
And
it gets even better...
If
at any time, and for any reason you are not 100% convinced that the program is
right for you, you can cancel without penalty. No hassles, no questions
asked and no hard feelings. Just give us a call, or send us a quick note
asking us to cancel your membership and we’ll do it immediately.
But
everything I say about this program doesn’t matter

YOU actually try it...
