Encouraging News from the World of Autism Research

I came across some encouraging news this week and wanted to share it with you.

Researchers at Georgia State University are helping lead what’s being called the largest study ever focused on profound autism. This long-term research will follow thousands of children over time to better understand their strengths, challenges, and support needs.

What does this mean for our community? Studies like this can help shape more personalized supports, improve early understanding, and give families clearer guidance as their children grow.

Most importantly, it shows that the world is continuing to listen and invest in meaningful autism research.

If this topic interests you – or if there are other research stories you’d like us to share -please reach out anytime at Karen@autismtoday.com. I’d love to hear from you!

Warmly,
Karen
